Emergency departmentA Life-Changing CareerResponsibilities:
Performs delegated tasks of patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Utilizes skills which she/he has obtained in educational programs and/or orientation and has demonstrated competency. Participates actively a member of the patient care team.Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and one of the following:
EMT or Paramedic certification, Corpsman or Medic experience in the military, CNA or PCT training, completion of "fundamentals" as a nursing student, or six months acute care (bedside) experience.Additional Qualifications:
Maintains yearly BLS certification.
Patient care skills, knowledge of infection control and safety procedures, medical terminology, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requires independent judgment, a high level of motivation, accountability, flexibility, interest in patient care, and compassion for people.Benefit Eligible:
