Full Time 8:00A - 4:30P, some weekends for end of month

Coding Specialist II
Bethesda Hospital East

High school graduate with knowledge of health information systems and completion of a coding specific in ICD-9-CM and CPT and anatomy and physiology. Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) as recognized by the American Health Information Management Association preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of ICD-9-CM, CPT, DRG and ASC/APC assignment. Responsible for coding inpatient and outpatient medical records using ICD-9 and CPT. Accepts training and transitioning for I-10. Two years experience in a Health Information Management Department preferred. Works from home once requiremetns met. Remote experience preferred. #LI-DNP
